This is a large 9 inch screen giving a modern upgrade. The extra space means icons are larger and the whole unit becomes easier to use.

The unit is touchscreen allowing screen pages to be scrolled left and right, or press the rectangle symbol for split-screen.

This Kenwood stereo is larger than the standard 7 inch Double DIN. To achieve the correct aperture an appropriate large fascia is required. These are car specific and can be different shapes and sizes. For this reason the price of the fascia ranges from £100 to £200 depending on complexity.

Please remember cars also require vehicle specific wiring and the car stereo itself, in addition to the fascia.

If your car has steering wheel controls then this unit will retain that function.

This usually means volume up / volume down but also skip track / reverse track. Sometimes you can accept calls through the steering wheel control functions however this is car dependent.

Once your phone is paired this system gives Bluetooth calling. Should you receive a call while driving, simply press the accept button that appears and talk freely. Once the call has finished you can either press ‘End’ or wait for the other person to end the call.

Now the stereo returns to the music track that was playing or resumes a navigation route.
