We provide a Kenwood CarPlay stereo to replace a current infotainment system. Older cars may only have FM radio and this package modernises your vehicle.

A typical Kenwood head unit is one that gives Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, DAB+, Bluetooth Calling, as well as FM radio all via a Touchscreen. This package is expertly installed to fit your vehicle.

Customers also require a car specific fascia, wiring kit, and installation for any new stereo.

Customers can choose either a wired or wireless stereo. The wired units will automatically connect to your paired phone once the ignition is on. If more than one phone is paired then there’ll be a race to connect between devices. This can be controlled by turning off Bluetooth, for a brief time, on the device least desirable for the CarPlay connection.

The wired unit is slightly cheaper and ideal to keep costs to a minimum. This gives FM, DAB+ and Bluetooth calls but to achieve CarPlay the phone needs to be connected via a fly lead in the glove box.

If your vehicle needs a DAB+ aerial, we will install a windscreen mounted one as part of our installation cost. This is a small inch wide box that sits on the passenger side of the windscreen and has a hair line aerial mounted to see sky. These aerials work very well and have proved resilient.

Please note, these are one-time-fit aerials and if the windscreen is replaced then a new one is required.

Please also note, DAB is dependent on the network signal and may drop in and out depending on where you are at the time.
