2K Front with HD Rear
This dashcam comes with a 2K front camera with optional rear. The front is 2K gives quad high definition recording with super-high resolution and replay.
It captures 2560×1440 pixels at H.256 / MP4 Video @ 30 frames per second. The lens is F1.8 fixed focus with a 136o diagonal ultra-wide viewing angle.
The optional rear camera is HD.
Evidence Recording
This device is designed to give evidence recording the event of an incident. We recommend as soon as something occurs to note the time. Once the journey has finished you remove the SD card and place into a computer. The footage is organised into minute slots and you can use the time taken to retrieve the correct video clip.

By downloading the Kenwood Video Player App to your computer you can download recordings. Here you can play, edit and share videos via your PC.
HDR & WDR for Backlighting
HDR (High Dynamic Range) & WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) for Backlighting, helps to reduce ‘blown out highlights’ and ‘crushed blacks’ and ensure clear images in challenging environments, including backlit scenes in daylight, streetlight scenes at night and places where light-dark contrast is particularly severe, such as at tunnel entrances/exits.
Parking Mode
Most dashcams are capable of parking mode however this needs to be considered carefully. With parking mode the camera will detect motion and immediately fire up and begin recording. If the car is left for a long time then this can cause the car battery to drain and no longer be able to start the car.
For this reason we recommend turning this function off unless you are making short stops, interspersed with longer periods of driving (thereby charging the car battery).
