CarPlay Screen Upgrade for BMW or Mercedes. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay with larger touchscreen display.

This gives CarPlay for BMW with a replacement screen. The screen is designed to fit in original screen slot and comes in the different shapes required.

This screen modernises the car with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto through the touchscreen or usual scroll wheel.

It uses the original Bluetooth connection in the car for calls but adds the extra capability of CarPlay.

Compatible with most BMW and Mercedes cars.

The new system works with compatible Apps on your smart phone. Use Waze or Google Maps for mapping and Spotify or Amazon Music for listening. You can also activate dedicated radio Apps from the PlayStore to listen to specific channels.

Compatible Apps are pulled from the phone onto the new screen and can be seen as icons. Tapping an icon will take you into that particular App for further choices.

In most cases the new screen is larger. The display goes to the edge of the screen space available giving better usability. In some cases the screen is more rectangle and therefore gives more screen real-estate.

It has a crisp HD, high-resolution display for more clarity and a modern feel.

System also runs on Linux for a quality and usually quick system.

If your vehicle comes with a factory reverse camera then this system will be retained. It can support both rear and front cameras if already fitted.

This screen does not add DAB. However, if your system already had DAB before the new screen was added then DAB can be accessed via the ‘DIZZPLAY’ icon. This takes you out of CarPlay and back to the factory radio and therefore DAB if originally there.

Please note most customers find they no longer need DAB when CarPlay is available.
